It is widely believed that human beings are rather resourceful creatures. The folks at http://thereifixedit.com however have another take on this resourceful nature, calling it “mankind’s eternal struggle to hammer square pegs into round holes (with duct tape.)” Their site is full of epic kludges or “ill-assorted collections of poorly matching parts, forming a distressing whole”. Uh oh… “distressing”.. kinda similar to a word we’re all familiar with.. MAAADDD!
